The Shield’s top five best moments in WWE history

‘The Hounds of Justice’ made their WWE on 2012.

The Shield was one of the most iconic wrestling stables that consisted of Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. They made their WWE debut on 2012 and were more dominant and successful throughout their run. In 2019, the stable was disbanded following the departure of Dean Ambrose.

Although half-a decade has passed, The Shield is still praised for their great accomplishments in the company. To recall their run, here are top 5 best WWE moments of The Shield.

5. Arriving in an Helicopter

On April 22, 2013, WWE hosted their prime TV Show, WWE Raw in the O2 Arena in London, where The Undertaker came out to have his first match in Raw after a decade, teaming up with Kane and Daniel Bryan, following the past week attack by Shield.

At the event, Shield made their coolest entrance of all time from an Helicopter to the arena. They then cut a coolest promo against Undertaker defeated Undertaker & Team Hell No is a Six Man Tag Team Match. This loss marks the last match of Undertaker on Raw.

4. Fighting with the whole locker room

On the September 10, 2018 episode of Raw, Braun Strowman joined hands with Drew McIntyre & Dolph Ziggler and surrounded with a number of Raw Superstars to stop The Shield. The Shield made their way to the ring in a signature way to the ring and took all the stars of the Raw locker room with the Axe-Handles to send the message to Strowman, Ziggler and McIntyre.

3. The Shield conquered the Gold

At Extreme Rules 2013 pay-per-view, Dean Ambrose faced Kofi Kingston for the United States Championship and won the title, marking the first title for The Shield. Later the same night, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins challenged Team Hell-No in a WWE Tag Team Championship match and won the Tag Team Gold. In the same night all the three members of Shield became Champions for the first time in the main roster.

2. The Final Reunion

On the March 4, 2019 episode of Raw, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins came to ask Dean Ambrose for the reunion of The Shield. Dean Ambrose declined their invitation and walked to the audience area. After Ambrose left, Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin & Bobby Lashley surrounded Reigns & Rollins.

When the numbers game took Reigns and Rollins down, Dean Ambrose saved them and finally showed The Shield Gesture to reunite Shield for the final time.

1. Sweeping Evolution Clean

At Payback 2014, The Shield faced Batista, Randy Orton & Triple H in a Six-Man Tag Team Elimination Match, where Roman Reigns pinned Batista to eliminate him first, Ambrose pinned Orton next and Roman pinned Triple H to clean sweep Evolution, delivering one of the extreme matches in their history.
