The Undertaker is one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, who has dominated the industry for 35 years. The Phenom throughout his career produced some of the best matches in WWE history. Here we take a look at five of the best matches of The Undertaker’s WWE career.
5. The Undertaker vs Edge (SummerSlam 2008)
At SummerSlam 2008, in the main event of the show, Undertaker faced Edge in a Hell in a Cell match. The match went so brutal, where both tried to kill each other using weapons.
Taker won the match after showcasing absolute brutality, by striking Edge on the back of the head and with a Tombstone Piledriver. After the match, Taker chokeslammed Edge from the top of the ladder, collapsing the canvas. Taker then performed his gesture to burn the flames from the broken stage.
4. The Undertaker vs Mankind (King of the Ring 1998)
At King of the Ring 1998, Undertaker faced Mankind in a Hell in a Cell match. The match witnessed the iconic Chokeslam of Taker on Mankind from top of the cell to the Spanish announce table.
Taker and Mankind however continue fighting the match trying to throw brutal shots. Towards the end, Mankind tried to apply Mandible Claw, however Taker countered it with a Chokeslam and Tombstone Piledriver for the win.

3. The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania 25)
At WrestleMania 25, Taker faced Shawn Michaels with his WrestleMania streak on the line. The match involved a lot of mind games right from the start, where Michaels entrance mimicked in contrast to The Deadman.
The match went for more than 30 minutes and it was full of a roller coaster ride, with a number of signature and finishing moves that went to a lot of near falls. Towards the end, Taker caught Michaels in mid-air and delivered a Tombstone for the win to make his record 17-0.
2. The Undertaker vs Triple H (WrestleMania 28)
At WrestleMania 28, Triple H challenged The Undertaker to a match inside the Hell in a Cell with Shawn Michaels as the Special Guest Referee in an aim to end Taker’s WrestleMania streak. The match went both inside and outside the ring and involved weapons.
At one stage everything went in favor of Triple H, even the referee himself. However, Taker still didn’t give up and executed a Tombstone on Triple H towards the end to continue his streak with 20-0. After the match, Undertaker, Triple H and Shawn Michaels helped each other walk out of the ring together.
1. The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania 26)
At WrestleMania 26, The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels risked their streak and career on the line, where if Michaels wins Taker will lose his streak, if Taker wins Michaels will be forced to retire. The match was held in the main event of the match with No Disqualification rules. Both fought until the last breath, risking their lives.
Towards the end, Taker with mercy in his eyes asked Michaels to stay down, but Michaels performed Taker’s gesture and slapped him. This made The Phenom angry and made him perform the jumping Tombstone for the win to end Michaels career. This match is the absolute best match of both of their careers and is remembered for years to come.
