CM Punk is set to return on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw!
CM Punk has been injured since Royal Rumble 2024 and has been away from in-ring competition for a very long time. Despite being injured, Punk and Drew McIntyre began a big rivalry with each other and have taken the rivalry more personally. Punk began to screw McIntyre’s world championship opportunities again and again in a number of situations.
The most recent involvement of Punk during Drew McIntyre’s match caused huge trouble to McIntyre, as he attacked officials to get suspended. As Punk is expected to be medically cleared to compete by this SummerSlam 2024 PLE, McIntyre’s suspension has no change. At this stage, Punk is said to make his WWE return this week on Raw. As Punk is announced for this week’s show, here are three things the Second City Saint could do on WWE Raw.
3. Request to list Drew McIntyre’s suspension
Two weeks ago on WWE Raw, CM Punk requested Adam Pearce to lift Drew McIntyre’s suspension, however Drew refused to apologize to the officials and ended without any change in status. CM Punk is expected to get medically cleared soon. He would again request Adam Pearce to give McIntyre another chance to lift his suspension. If Punk’s negotiations end up well, he could call out Drew next week for a face-off.
2. Announce in-ring return
CM Punk was caught training at the WWE Performance Center to get medically cleared. Since Punk has started his in-ring training, there are a lot of chances that Punk will announce his in-ring return this Monday. If Punk is medically cleared, he would waste no time and would call for a match against Drew McIntyre at the SummerSlam PLE.
1. Involve in a brawl
CM Punk is likely to announce that he is medically cleared to compete, after months of being on the bench. Seth Rollins has warned Punk of attacking him after Punk gets medically cleared. If Punk announces his in-ring return, Seth Rollins could confront and try to attack Punk. This could result in a brawl and kick-start the triangular feud between Punk, Seth Rollins & Drew McIntyre.
