The Second City Saint is set for a big match at SummerSlam!

‘The Second City Saint’ CM Punk emerged victorious in the gauntlet match last week to secure the number one contender’s spot for the World Heavyweight title. He is set to face Gunther for the title at the upcoming SummerSlam.

Ahead of the title clash next month, the Second City Saint is set to discuss the upcoming clash on tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw. The June 21 episode of the Red brand is set to emanate live from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, USA.

Let us now take a look at the top three things that the Second City Saint can do in his appearance tonight on WWE Raw.

3. Aid Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn has been absent from WWE programming for two weeks after being ambushed by Karrion Kross backstage. He is now set to battle Zayn in a rematch tonight. This also means Zayn will make his return this week in Houston.

Zayn is already struggling with injuries due to the attacks, and Kross’ bad intentions might be on full display during the match. Punk might decide to aid Zayn and help him register another win over Karrion.

2. Neutralize the Paul Heyman threat

Seth Rollins is currently out of action due to an injury he sustained during the recent edition of SNME. Rollins’ absence helped CM Punk register a win last week, as Rollins had vowed not to let Punk near the title, but he failed to do so again due to his absence.

In order to clear his path towards the title and make sure that no outside interference ruins his dream, Punk could neutralize the Paul Heyman threat. The Second City Saint can join forces with Roman Reigns and take down the dominating presence of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

1. Engage in a promo battle with Gunther

CM Punk has delivered many iconic promos during his feud with multiple stars. The Second City Saint can once again deliver a scathing promo hyping up fans for the clash.

The promo can also be used to send a stern warning for the Champion and set the narrative straight.

While Gunther likely won’t be able to hang with Punk on the mic, the Champion will unlikely back down. A promo battle between the two stars would be a great way to hype up the clash.

When will CM Punk face Gunther?

CM Punk will battle Gunther for the World Heavyweight title at the 2025 edition of SummerSlam PLE.

When was the last time CM Punk held the World title in WWE?

The Second City Saint last held the WWE World title in January 2013.

When and where will the July 21 edition of WWE Raw take place?

The July 21 episode of WWE Raw will air live from the Toyota Center Houston in Houston, Texas, USA.
