The 17-time World Champion will make his return to Raw tonight!

‘The 17-time World Champion’ John Cena concluded his SmackDown appearances on the September 5 episode in Chicago and is now set to conclude his final remaining appearances on Raw. He will kick off his remaining three appearances on Raw tonight.

The September 15 episode of Monday Night Raw will air live from the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. The show will have an early start time of 7 PM ET/ 4 PM PT; in fact, the remaining shows this month will all have an early start time of 7 PM.

Cena is set to battle Brock Lesnar at the upcoming PLE. However, the latter is not scheduled for an appearance on the show. Here are the top three things that Cena might do in his appearance tonight.

3. Call out AJ Styles

One of the most demanded clashes by fans on John Cena’s retirement tour is with AJ Styles. However, due to time constraints, the two have been unable to share the ring. Cena also paid a tribute to Styles by delivering the Styles Clash on Logan Paul at Clash in Paris.

Cena is currently paying homage to multiple legends who have played a part in his career. The 17-time World Champion could call out Styles for a singles match, giving fans a match to remember.

2. Uplifting rising stars

Since his face turn, Cena has not only competed against Logan Paul but has also competed in a televised match against Sami Zayn for the United States title in his last appearance on SmackDown. Getting the chance to battle Cena during his retirement tour is a laudable achievement for any star

The veteran can do the same by competing in another match against a rising star like Dominik Mysterio, who, similar to Logan Paul, is widely recognized and somewhat hated for their heel behaviors. Mysterio already won the AAA Mega title and is a double Champion; sharing the ring with Cena will be another feather in his cap.

1. Cut a scathing promo on Brock Lesnar

As mentioned, Brock Lesnar, who made an appearance on last week’s SmackDown, is not set for an appearance on tonight’s show. Apart from two confrontations where Lesnar took out Cena with F5s, the two stars have not really shared the ring or even cut a promo.

Cena can cut a promo on tonight’s show to build up hype for the clash, which, per Joe Tessitore, is set to headline the PLE. A scathing promo and a potential confrontation with Lesnar once again would help the already highly anticipated match more.
