Top three things that could happen on WWE SmackDown (October 4, 2024)

WWE SmackDown this week will be the last show before the company holds Bad Blood PLE
The penultimate WWE SmackDown before Bad Blood 2024 will be broadcast live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee tomorrow. So far, the firm has announced only two matches for the event.
Additionally, AJ Styles will return to the blue brand this week. Fans should anticipate the campaign to highlight Bad Blood’s roster for Friday’s concert. There might be some significant surprises in store for fans tomorrow night, setting the tone for Bad Blood 2024.
That being said, here are three last-minute predictions for the final episode of WWE SmackDown before Bad Blood 2024.
3. Tiffany Stratton might lose her MITB briefcase
Naomi will face Tiffany Stratton in a singles match on this week’s WWE SmackDown. However, this might escalate into something more, since we could have a new Ms. Money in the bank by the end of the night.
Naomi may aim not just to defeat Tiffy, but also to take away her most valued asset, the MITB briefcase. The veteran might persuade Tiffany to put her MITB contract on the line, resulting in Nick Aldis making it official.
If that is how things play out, Stratton may lose her MITB briefcase to Naomi as a result of Nia Jax’s meddling. The Irresistible Force may unwittingly lose Tiffy her MITB briefcase, sparking a potential animosity between the duo
2. AJ Styles might face LA Knight on WWE SmackDown
AJ Styles, who has been on the sidelines since Clash at the Castle, will return to the blue brand on Friday night. It will be intriguing to see what the organization has planned for him following The Phenomenal One’s return.
One possible path for Styles is to restart his feud with LA Knight for the United States Championship. The two have a long history together, and it wouldn’t be a terrible idea for the creative team to revisit it in the coming days.
Styles may return and defeat Knight on WWE SmackDown before challenging him for the United States Championship.
1. Roman Reigns might replace Cody Rhodes with Jimmy Uso
Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes will face Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood 2024. However, given the tough struggle for The Bloodline pair, the heels may attempt to undermine the OTC by eliminating his partner, Cody Rhodes, on WWE SmackDown this week.
The Bloodline might potentially harm The American Nightmare, prompting Roman Reigns to replace him with Jimmy Uso. The eight-time champion (three-time RAW Tag Team Champion and five-time SmackDown Tag Team Champion) is speculated to return soon, maybe even on the SmackDown night this week.
After The Bloodline presumably eliminates Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns may reveal Jimmy as his new partner, much to the surprise of The Bloodline.
