The 8/19 episode of WWE Raw is action-packed with big matches & segments
WWE is all set to host the August 19, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw from the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, United States. With just two weeks from the Bash in Berlin PLE, WWE has booked some of the interesting matches and segments for the show.
There is a huge anticipation for the show, as the storylines are expected to elevate to a newer level. With just hours away from the show, here we take a look at the top three things to watch out for on this week’s episode of WWE Raw.
3. New champions could be crowned
The Women’s Tag Team Championship will be on the line this week on Raw. Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn of The Unholy Union will be defending their title in a triple threat tag team match against Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark of The Pure Fusion Collective & IYO SKY & Kairi Sane of Damage CTRL.
A title triple-threat match minimizes the championship advantage, as there is no necessity to pin the champs to take the title from them. There is a huge chance that the titles could change hands on the show. Will new champions be crowned this week? Is the one to watch out for.
2. Randy Orton & Gunther could brawl
Gunther and Randy Orton have been having back-to-back confrontations in the last two weeks for their upcoming world championship match at Bash in Berlin. Last week Orton made the first strike by delivering an RKO to the champ. This week they could turn everything physical by brawling ringside to elevate their rivalry to an all-new level. Will Orton & Gunther be involved in a brawl this week is the one to watch out for.
1. CM Punk’s message to Drew McIntyre
CM Punk will be live this week on Raw, after whooping Drew McIntyre with the leather belt. Punk is set to send a ‘can’t miss message’ to Drew McIntyre this week. As we are getting close to the upcoming Bash in Berlin PLE, they could elevate their rivalry. Punk could challenge McIntyre for a Strap match at the upcoming premium live event. Will the Punk vs McIntyre sequel get confirmed for Bash in Berlin? is the one to watch out for.
