WWE SmackDown returns to the birthplace of professional wrestling following a spectacular run at Madison Square Garden in New York City, promising another action-packed edition. This week’s show takes place in the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and it kicks off a fantastic triple-header weekend that also features Money in the Bank and NXT Heatwave.
Fans can expect a night of high-stakes matchups and fierce rivalries, laying the groundwork for the next premium live events. WWE has booked some of the interesting matches and segments for this week’s show. Here’s a preview of the top three things to watch out for on this week’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
WWE Tag Team Championship Match: A-Town Down Under (Grayson Waller & Austin Theory) vs DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa)
Grayson Waller and Austin Theory, collectively known as A-Town Down Under, captured the WWE Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania XL. Since then, they’ve been embroiled in a fierce rivalry with DIY’s Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa.
Both teams have traded victories in singles competition over the past several weeks, making this title defense highly anticipated. The chemistry and in-ring prowess of Gargano and Ciampa will be tested against the cunning and athleticism of Waller and Theory.

Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill vs Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell
In a match set up by recent Money in the Bank qualifiers, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will face against Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell. The feud between these competitors intensified after Indi Hartwell interfered in a triple-threat match, costing Cargill a victory. This led to altercations, with Belair and Cargill seeking retribution. Fans can expect a high-energy bout as these four dynamic athletes collide in the ring.
Pretty Deadly vs The Street Profits
Pretty Deadly’s Elton Prince and Kit Wilson will take on Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins of The Street Profits in a tag team showdown. Both teams are known for their charisma and high-flying maneuvers, making this an exciting match-up. With the added pressure of the upcoming premium live events, both teams will be looking to gain momentum and secure a crucial victory.
