The World Heavyweight title showdown will close out the show.

Tonight’s Monday Night Raw is set to emanate live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. To continue the New Year momentum, WWE will present a special Stranger Things–themed edition of the Red brand tonight.

Three title showdown along with the in-ring return of Liv Morgan has been announced for the show. One of those showdowns is a maqruee showdown between CM Punk and Bron Breakker for the World Heavyweight title.

With multiple storylines playing out in this match and The Vision by Breakker’s side, the match could end in multiple intriguing ways. Here we will take a look at three possible endings for the title clash, which will close out the first WWE Raw of 2026.

3. CM Punk retains

WWE has put up a stacked card featuring massive names, and CM Punk is definitely one of the biggest among them. While Breakker has been pitted as the next big thing, he isn’t there yet. Reports have also suggested Breakker winning the Royal Rumble and likely challenging for the title at WrestleMania.

This could still be the plan, with tonight’s match serving as only the opening chapter of the feud. Punk may retain the title, potentially with some assistance from his alliance with Rey Mysterio, who is now backed by Penta and dealing with his own ongoing issues with The Vision.

2. The Vision aids Bron

One of the most familiar scenarios whenever a member of The Vision competes inside the squared circle is their willingness to look out for one another when the pressure rises, even if that means bending the rules.

Paul Heyman has a long history of orchestrating elaborate and effective strategies to secure major victories for his clients, and that same approach could once again come into play here, with The Vision potentially helping Breakker during the match. The addition of Austin Theory has tilted the numbers game heavily in their favor.

1. LA Knight returns to spoil the party

‘The Megastar’ LA Knight has been absent from WWE Programming since the December 8 episode of Raw, where he was viciously attacked by the Vision and suffered a brutal Tsunami by Reed onto a SUV. Knight was effectively written off TV and will likely make his comeback, as per tradition, to spoil the party in the biggest way possible for the faction.

What better way to do that than spoil Breakker’s chances and crush his title hopes tonight? Knight’s return can also set up interesting matches ahead of the first Saturday Night’s Main Event of 2026, as well as the Royal Rumble PLE, where, instead of partaking in the men’s Rumble match, WWE could book a tag team match involving Punk and Knight against the Vision.

When and where will the first Raw of 2026 take place?

The first Monday Night Raw of 2026 is set to emanate live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Where can fans tune in to catch all the action?

WWE fans can tune into Netflix (excluding select markets) to catch all the action live at 8 PM ET.

What matches have been announced for the show?

•CM Punk (c) vs Bron Breakker – World Heavyweight title match•The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) (c) vs Rhea Ripley & Iyo Sky – Women’s Tag Team titles match•Maxxine Dupri (c) vs Becky Lynch – Women’s Intercontinental title match•Liv Morgan vs Lyra Valkyria
