The Young OG will battle Gunther and Dominik Mysterio.

Six superstars this Monday on Raw will compete in the Elimination Chamber Qualifying match in the men’s and women’s divisions to secure the fourth spot in the two respective Chamber matches.

Gunther, Je’Von Evans, and Dominik Mysterio will battle in the men’s Chamber match, while Bayley, Asuka, and Nattie will lock horns in the women’s Qualifying match.

Here, we will discuss the men’s Chamber qualifiers, specifically why Je’Von Evans should win the match and secure the fourth spot on the upcoming edition of WWE Raw.

3. Breakout moment before WrestleMania

Traditionally, the WrestleMania PLE and the entire build have been used to push new and rising stars into the main event scene, helping them gain familiarity in front of fans. Evans has been showcasing incredible in-ring skills, pulling off high-risk and almost impossible moves that have captured the attention of fans.

A spot in the men’s Chamber match with a win over names like Gunther and Dominik Mysterio in Memphis is a sure shot for Evans to put the entire WWE universe on notice.

2. Fresh star momentum

Since losing the World Heavyweight title, Gunther has been on a path of destruction, spoiling two beloved veterans’ final matches and sending them into retirement. On the other hand, Dominik Mysterio currently holds the Intercontinental and the AAA Mega titles.

Neither of these two stars needs a win, and both are on different career trajectories, making it predictable for fans that they’re unlikely to advance. On the other hand, Evans, since his promotion to the main roster, has delivered whenever he’s been given an opportunity, making him a strong candidate to pull off the upset.

1. Unpredictability factor

With Cody Rhodes’ win in the qualifiers last week, fans have predicted another match between him and Drew McIntyre with the title on the line at WrestleMania. However, WWE has already exhausted this feud with multiple matches, and the stakes just don’t feel that high.

Similar to how Drew’s upset title win over Cody last month drummed up fan interest and broke the stale cycle of their rivalry, Evans qualifying this Monday, and potentially going on to win the Chamber match, could inject fresh excitement into the title picture and set up an unexpected showdown with McIntyre.
