Drew McIntyre will return this week on WWE Raw after suspension

Drew McIntyre at the Money in the Bank PLE got screwed by CM Punk, which not only cost McIntyre’s world title match but also his MITB contract. This made McIntyre lose his mind and take a swing against the officials and Raw General Manager Adam Pearce on the MITB Post Show.

This made Adam Pearce fine McIntyre and suspend him for an indefinite period. However, after Punk’s request, Pearce got convinced and lifted his suspension to make Drew McIntyre return this week on Raw. Upon his return, here are the top three things he could do this Monday night.

3. Get suspended again

Adam Pearce has arranged a meeting with Drew McIntyre this week, to check if McIntyre could handle the business. McIntyre teased that Pearce is doing partial favors to Punk, and acting against him. As Drew already has an ongoing issue with Pearce, they might not agree to the terms, resulting in a physical altercation against Pearce, which could make Pearce suspend McIntyre again, to write him off from SummerSlam 2024.

2. Confrontation with Seth Rollins

Both Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins have to take vengeance on CM Punk and are in thirst for tasting CM Punk’s blood. Last week on Raw, Rollins told Punk that he would be the first to keep his hand on him and not Drew. As both look to take out Punk, they could have a confrontation and cut promo against each other arguing who wanted Punk more and get involved in a brawl.

1. Brawl with CM Punk

CM Punk is advised to be away from this week’s Raw, however, Punk is not the type of guy who obeys his rules, especially when his target is on the site. Punk could try to attack Drew McIntyre and both might kickstart a brawl.

This could result in either getting the match they wanted at SummerSlam or both being suspended for not following the boundaries set by Adam Pearce. However, this is only possible, if Punk shows up and eventually gets cleared to get involved physically.
