Tiffany Stratton faced WWE HOF Trish Stratus
The energy in Atlanta was electric as Tiffany Stratton defended her WWE Women’s Championship against WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus in a highly anticipated cross-generational showdown. The two locked up in the center of the ring, trading holds and reversals in a technical opening stretch that drew cheers from the crowd.
Stratus leaned on her experience, working a tight headlock and grounding the champion early. But Stratton’s athleticism shone through, as she countered with a slick cartwheel reversal and a quick dropkick. Trish stayed one step ahead for most of the early going, delivering a handspring Frankensteiner to the floor and following up with a powerful spinebuster.
The WWE legend nearly had the match won with a tornado DDT and a Chick Kick, but Stratton continued to show grit. Despite being overwhelmed at times, the champ always found an escape route and the will to kick out.
Tiffany Stratton turns up the pace
Tiffany found her rhythm midway through the bout, hitting a handspring back elbow into a perfectly executed lungblower. Her cartwheel offense and core strength gave her an edge, as she nearly won the match with a top-rope senton.
Stratus wasn’t done yet, hitting a second Chick Kick and even landing a moonsault of her own. But the knees were up both times on Stratton’s senton and Stratus’ moonsault. The back-and-forth pace turned the match into a war of attrition. Each woman dug deep, trading near falls and signature moves in a dramatic sequence that had the crowd on their feet.

From there, the champion climbed to the top rope, executed her signature double-jump, and nailed the Prettiest Moonsault Ever to finally put Trish Stratus down for the three count.
Tiffany Stratton retains the WWE Women’s Championship, proving once again that she’s the face of the division’s future, even when standing across from its most legendary star.
