WWE needs some captivating teams for its division.

WWE has some high-caliber teams on both its RAW and SmackDown brands. However, the tag team division took a major hit with the release of several teams from the roster.

Moreover, it can be said that the two sets of WWE Tag Team titles do not have enough teams to compete for. Furthermore, there has been a report hinting that the company might bring back popular teams to rebuild the division, and here are five names that can make their returns.

5. The Colons

WWE can bring back Carlito and Primo, collectively known as The Colons.

They were the very first Unified WWE Tag Team Champions and were highly regarded as a top team at one point. Moreover, they also carry the rich lineage of Carlos Colon with them, making them a top prospect for the plans to build back the tag division.

4. Authors of Pain

The dominant duo of Akam and Rezar terrorized the WWE tag team division for years and earned multiple accolades in the process.

Despite their two failed runs, the third time could be the charm for them if WWE brings them back and aligns them with the right manager, one who can lead them to major success.

3. Enzo Amore and Big Cass

Big Cass and Enzo Amore were a perfect combination of strength and charisma as a tag team.

While Enzo held the audience with his captivating mic skills, Cass was the team’s powerhouse. Moreover, they are among the rumored names WWE wants to bring back and could be excellent additions to the current WWE landscape.

2. Motor City Machine Guns

Chris Sabin and Alex Shelly’s success as a team in TNA and other promotions led to their arrival in WWE in 2024.

Despite becoming WWE Tag Team Champions and delivering exceptional matches, they were recently released by WWE. However, the company should reconsider and bring them back as they are still highly talented and one of the most accomplished teams in wrestling today.

1. The Hardy Boyz

Matt and Jeff Hardy are one of the most legendary tag teams that are still active in the ring today.

They have an illustrious resume as a top team and as singles performers. While they did make a few appearances on NXT last year, WWE needs a major unit like The Hardy Boyz to rebuild its tag division.

Who are the current WWE tag team champions on RAW and SmackDown?

Logan Paul & Austin Theory on RAW & Damian R-Truth on SmackDown
