5. Turn on Kevin Owens

Randy Orton over the years is known for striking back even for an accidental push. However, on the September 27, 2024, episode of SmackDown, Orton stayed calm when Owens pushed him while confronting Rhodes. Orton could remember it and then strike on Owens to turn heel. This could return Orton as a full-time singles wrestler, rather than being a tag team wrestler.

4. Ignite fire between Owens & Rhodes 

On the September 27, 2024, episode of SmackDown, Randy asked Cody to have their back, when they got outnumbered by the Bloodline. He also said that he would speak to Owens about Cody having the back. However, Orton didn’t inform Owens until tensions developed with Cody. Orton would have made it on purpose to develop heat between Cody and Owens, to remove Owens from having Rhodes back. This could help Orton to isolate Cody and covet the Undisputed WWE title.

3. Screw Cody & Roman in their match

Randy Orton made it clear that everything is fine with Cody Rhodes teaming up with Roman Reigns unless Cody makes it a problem. Randy still has unfinished business with Roman, who took him away from in-ring competition for over 15 months. At this stage, Randy could attack Roman at Bad Blood and help Bloodline pick up the win. When Cody asks why he did it, Orton could perform an RKO on Cody for standing for Roman.

Randy Orton has been teasing becoming a 15-time world champion and also challenged Gunther for the World title in the process, but failed. At this stage, the only way Orton could get into the 15-time Champion is by going against Cody Rhodes. With the eyes on the title, Orton could turn on Cody and challenge him for the Undisputed WWE title. This is one of the most rumored matches in recent times and there is huge anticipation for this match.

Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes have a long history together since their time under the faction Legacy, where Orton was the leader of Cody. Randy could be jealous of Cody’s growth, for making Orton his sidekick, using Randy only for his growth. Orton could claim that he is above Cody at all costs and turn on Cody.
