This week’s episode of WWE Raw features a tag title match

Monday Night Raw is heading to Boston, Massachusetts, and the TD Garden is ready to host another electrifying night of action! With intense matches and fierce rivalries, the Red Brand is set to deliver a thrilling experience for fans.

This week’s episode will feature the segments that culminated at Saturday Night’s Main Event along with the storylines from regular programming. Ahead of this week’s show in Boston let us take a look at four predictions for the 12/16 episode.

4. War Raiders wins

The team of Erik and Ivar (War Raiders) are scheduled to face the World Tag Team Champions Finn Balor and JD McDonagh (The Judgement Day) on this week’s episode. The tag titles are on the line for this clash.

The promotion has been teasing a split in the Judgment Day as well as pushing Balor’s singles career which hints at Balor and McDonagh potentially losing their tag title at the hands of Erik and Ivar. The interference from Damian Priest is also very imminent.

3. Bron Breakker retains

Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker will defend his title against Ludwig Kaiser at the TD Garden this week. Breakker previously came out on top in a triple threat match against Sheamus and Kaiser at Survivor Series 2024, held at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena on November 30th.

Sheamus could potentially interfere in the match, costing Kaiser his title opportunity and allowing Breakker to retain his championship. Given Breakker’s momentum, it also seems unlikely that he would lose the title, as such a decision could derail his current momentum.

2. Boston crowd rejects Kofi Kingston

Kofi Kingston is scheduled to make an appearance on the 12/16 episode of the Red brand which will take place in his hometown of Boston. Since kicking Big E out of the New Day faction Kingston and Xavier Woods have been getting brutal treatment from the locker room as well as WWE fandom.

In last week’s episode, Woods and Kofi attempted to explain their actions, but they were mercilessly booed out of the arena as the Kansas crowd refused to let them speak.

Despite being in his hometown, there’s a chance that Kingston could face boos in Boston, much like last week’s reaction in Wichita. The New Day has long been beloved by the WWE Universe, and the recent heel turn of Woods and Kofi has not been well received by the fans.

The Boston crowd, similar to Wichita, may not give Kingston the chance to explain his side of the story. It would be intriguing to see how the Boston crowd responds to their beloved hometown star.

1. Uncle Howdy attacks Paul Ellering

Wyatt Sicks clashed with Final Testament on last week’s episode in an eight-man title match. The two factions are locked in a fierce feud which culminated in last week’s clash.

However, the return of Paul Ellering helped the Final Testament in the match as Karrion Kross decimated Uncle Howdy and picked up the win. The Wyatt Sicks will not let this interference pass and Uncle Howdy will most likely target Paul Ellering on this week’s episode.

Uncle Howdy and his fiction would look to send a message to Karrian Kross and the Final Testament signaling that the feud is far from over.

Who do you think will come out on top in the matchup between Breakker and Kaiser? How do you expect Kofi to be received by his hometown crowd? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments section!
