Jey Uso captured the World Heavyweight title at WrestleMania 41!
Defying the odds, Jey Uso put Gunther to sleep and captured his first singles World title in the first match of WrestleMania 41 (Saturday). This was also his second singles title, as he had held the Intercontinental title previously.
Jey put his title on the line in an impromptu match last week on Monday Night Raw against Seth Rollins. However, the match ended in disqualification due to interference from Bron Breakker, which led to an intervention from CM Punk and Sami Zayn.
However, this might not be the last time Rollins tries to capture the World title, multiple other challengers would also attempt to get a shot at the title. Here are the top three stars who could dethrone the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
3. Drew McIntyre
‘The Scottish Psychopath’ Drew McIntyre has had a long history with the Bloodline and its members, which also consisted of the current Heavyweight Champion. Jey had been unable to defeat McIntyre in singles competition until their previous meeting, where he pinned McIntyre to register his first win. McIntyre might target Jey again, asking to run it back, this time with the title on the line.

2. Seth Rollins
‘The Visionary’ Seth Rollins came very close to winning the title last week; the only thing that saved Jey was CM Punk’s return. However, the Champion might not get lucky in a rematch as the Trifecta of Terror will likely attempt to grab the title once again, with Paul Heyman’s connections, a rematch is not a far-fetched idea for Rollins and a perfect game plan featuring Bron Breakker might help Rollins seal the victory this time.
1. Gunther
Despite his dominance and previous wins, ‘The Ring General’ Gunther failed to defeat Jey and retain his title at WrestleMania 41. After taking care of Pat McAfee, the Ring General will likely shift his focus back to regaining the World Heavyweight title, something which he hinted towards during his recent promo when the crowd started chanting, “You tapped out”.
The Ring General has had a great track record of dominance, similar to McIntyre, Gunhter has multiple wins over Jey. Jey has only managed to defeat Gunther in their last meeting at WrestleMania. Apart from it, Gunther is 3-1 with the current Champion, and he might make it 4-1 in their rematch.
