Raw will feature an Intercontinental title match this week.

The upcoming June 8 edition of Monday Night Raw will air live from the Accor Arena in Paris, France. Seth Rollins, Liv Morgan, Oba Femi, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Becky Lynch are listed as featured superstars for the show.

Seth Rollins will take on Je’Von Evans, Ricky Saints, and Talla Tonga in the first-round match of the KOTR. The winner will advance into the semi-finals. Meanwhile, in the QOTR first-round match, Liv Morgan, Becky Lynch, Chelsea Green, and Alexa Bliss will battle in a fatal four-way match to secure a spot in the semi-finals.

Additionally,  WWE Intercontinental Champion Penta, via social media, has revealed that he will defend the title in Paris against Rey Mysterio. Let us now take a look at the top four storylines that might unravel on this Monday’s Raw.

4. Intercontinental title match

As noted, WWE Intercontinental Champion Penta will defend the strap once again, this time against WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, who defeated Rusev on the May 25 episode of Raw to earn the title shot.

There are a lot of moving parts in this title match, with Rusev and Ethan Page lurking around; the match might end up in chaos. Additionally, it hardly seems that WWE will opt to put the title on Rey, especially since he is now the General Manager of AAA. That said, fans will still have to wait until 2 PM ET to find out how the title match transpires.

3. Update on Paul Heyman

In the main event of last week’s show, Seth Rollins defeated Bron Breakker, despite interference from Bron’s Vision faction. However, the talking point that came out of the match was Breakker accidentally spearing ‘The Oracle’ Paul Heyman through the barricade as Rollins wisely moved out of harm’s way.

Although it is unlikely that WWE will keep Heyman off TV despite the spear, as the faction has already two members short. However, it will still be interesting to see how the storyline unfolds this week and what Heyman does after another massive setback for Bron as he lost the KOTR first-round match on SmackDown.

2. King & Queen of the Ring tournament

The 2026 King and Queen of the Ring Tournament will continue this Monday with two first-round matches, which were mentioned in the intro above. On the men’s side, Seth Rollins is a heavy favorite, but will Bron Breakker decide to interfere?

Similarly, on the women’s side, Liv Morgan, who is already the Women’s World Champion and aiming to capture the second World title, is anticipated to win, but the inclusion of big names such as Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, and Chelsea Green might spoil her plans. Additionally, if WWE decides to move Becky into the World title scene once again, then she might likely steal the win in France.

1. Roman Reigns’ Bloodline

During the opening moments of last week’s show, Jacob Fatu acknowledged Roman Reigns and stood alongside the Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) to conclude the segment. Now many are waiting to see if the rift visible between Fatu and Jey Uso last week will unravel or if the Bloodline as a cohesive force starts to wreak havoc on the roster.

Talla Tonga is also set to partake in the KOTR first-round match, and his inclusion might mean Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga’s appearance on the Red brand. WWE has already teased another Bloodline civil war in the closing moments of Clash in Italy and might start to build towards the feud this week.
