Update on Tiffany Stratton's injury & WWE return amid hiatus since November 2025

The former Women’s Champion has been absent from WWE programming.
After a stellar cash-in against Nia Jax to begin 2025, Tiffany Stratton not only captured the WWE Women’s title but went on an incredible, undefeated streak for the major part of last year, while defending the title multiple times.
However, the undefeated streak came to an end at the Crown Jewel 2025, where Stephanie Vaquer defeated her in a Champion vs Champion clash to win the Crown Jewel title.
Following the loss, Stratton suffered another major defeat against Jade Cargill at the November 2025 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, where the Women’s title was on the line. Since the title loss, Stratton has been absent from WWE programming.
While not much was known about her absence until last week, when a report revealed that the former Champion had been dealing with an injury.
However, the report did not offer any further information about the type of injury or how serious it may be. Now, a new report from BodySlam has shed more light on the situation regarding the former Champion.

According to the report, Stratton was on a hiatus due to an undisclosed injury, but is now ready to make her return. The report also adds that she is expected to be a major part of the plans heading into WrestleMania 42 and will be featured prominently in WWE programming.

The 42nd edition of WrestleMania is set to emanate live from the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show will take place over two nights, April 18 (Saturday) and April 19 (Sunday), 2026.
Fans have felt Stratton’s absence on SmackDown
Stratton’s absence has been felt by fans on the Friday Night SmackDown women’s roster, which has been struggling with the absence of major stars and the thin roster.
Notably, Jade Cargill, since winning the title in November, has not defended it once and has barely memorable feud with Michin, who is now out of action mid-feud due to an injury.
Stratton’s return would definitely shake up the division, and she will likely re-focus on regaining the title, possibly setting up a rematch for the title at the upcoming WrestleMania.
