Naomi officially vacated the World Title after announcing her pregnancy!

Women’s World Champion Naomi was set to defend the title against Iyo Sky last week. However, the match was cancelled as the Champion was not cleared for in-ring action. Amid speculations, WWE announced that the Champion would make an appearance on the August 18 episode to address the fans.

The Champion made her appearance on the show, announcing her pregnancy, and stayed true to her heel persona to deliver an amazing promo. She relinquished the Women’s World title at the end of the promo and warned the entire division to “PROCEED WITH CAUTION!”.

The former Women’s World Champion is married to fellow WWE superstar Jonathan Fatu, better known by his ring name Jimmy Uso. The two stars are now expecting their first child. This exit has left a massive void in the Red brand’s women’s division.

Naomi was not only set to defend the title against Sky last week, but she was also scheduled to defend the title against Stephanie Vaquer at the upcoming Clash in Paris. Vaquer won the 20-woman battle royal at Evolution 2025 to secure the title shot.

However, the vacant title has put the division and the promotion’s plans in limbo. Amid uncertainty, a new report from Fightful Select has provided some clarity.
