Witness the semi-finals on the next edition of RAW and SmackDown

The semi-final clashes for the blue brand’s side of the WWE King and Queen of the Ring tournament were confirmed Friday night on 5/17 “WWE SmackDown.” LA Knight failed to defeat Tama Tonga, who was accompanied by The Bloodline, which included Solo Sikoa and Tanga Loa.

Randy Orton defeated Carmelo Hayes in the main event. On the penultimate edition of “SmackDown” before the premium live event, Orton and Tonga will compete for SmackDown’s position in the King of the Ring finals next week in Saudi Arabia.

LA Knight started well against Tama Tonga but the numbers game was too much

LA Knight began off well against Tonga on WWE SmackDown but was quickly caught in a sleeper hold to stop his momentum. Sikoa and Loa stepped up on the apron, and the referee did nothing to stop them. They kept their hands off Knight, but the “Megastar” became preoccupied, and Tonga struck him from behind.

Knight sought to capitalize by delivering a pop-up power slam followed by an elbow drop. Loa pulled Tonga out of the ring as he was about to hit a BFT. Knight hit a baseball slide at them both and glared down at Solo Sikoa from the outside. When they returned to the ring, Tonga landed a sidewalk slam on Knight for a pinfall win.

Randy Orton pulls off a win

Carmelo Hayes had been in the face of LA Knight all night backstage. Coming into the match Orton repeatedly spiked Hayes on the announce table, but he would not give in. When the men returned to the ring, they fought back and forth, but Hayes refused to submit to “The Viper.” Hayes missed the Nothing By Net, so Orton set up in the ropes and delivered his famous DDT, followed by an RKO to secure the victory.

Jade Cargill loses via DQ, Bianca Belair moves into the semi-finals

Bianca Belair and Tiffany Stratton had one of the best matches of the night with both women having to go all-out on WWE Friday Night live. But, at last, Belair picked up the win hitting Belair with a KO’d. In the next match, we saw “The Irresistible Force” Nia Jax meeting Jade Cargill. While Cargill was in total control of the match but Jax’s cunningness helped her gain a DQ victory helping her to advance into the tournament.
