Updated brackets for WWE King and Queen of the Ring tournament 2024 after 5/20 RAW

One finalist each for King and Queen of the Ring has been confirmed in Raw.

The focus of Monday night’s episode of Raw was on one man and one lady punching their tickets to the King and Queen of the Ring finals. After winning their semifinal battles, we now know that Gunther and Lyra Valkyria will meet in the SmackDown finals.

Gunther defeated Jey Uso in the night’s main event, and Valkyria stunned former women’s world champion Iyo Sky to advance to the finals. Gunther and Valkyria are now waiting for WWE Friday Night SmackDown to find out who they will fight in Saturday’s premium live event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Gunther stops “Main Event” Jey Uso to advance

Gunther beat Jey Uso via submission with a modified arm-triangle choke. Gunther controlled the contest, working over Uso’s arm throughout. Uso almost completed a comeback with a spear and Uso Splash, but the referee was also knocked down by the spear, delaying the count. Moments later, Gunther completed the submission, advancing to the finals.

Lyra Valkyria shows her class

Lyra Valkyria, the former NXT women’s champion, defeated Iyo Sky to go to the Queen of the Ring Tournament finals. The battle was a spectacular, hard-fought encounter, with Sky dominating for the opening half before Valkyria clawed her way back into the game. The second half was highlighted by counters, reversals, and near-falls, culminating in the babyface avoiding the Over the Moonsault and catching her with the Nightwing to secure the come-from-behind victory.
