WWE’s red brand confirmed one new match for WWE SummerSlam 2024
Monday Night RAW, WWE’s weekly show, returned yesterday, July 15. The live event aired from the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio, and included some interesting WWE SummerSlam updates. The night began with some intense brawling as Celtic Warrior Sheamus faced off against Bronson Reed.
Four more bouts followed, with performers including Damian Priest, Jey Uso, and Sonya Deville. In the women’s tag team competition, Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark faced Katana Chance and Kayden Carter. Finally, the main event of yesterday’s RAW edition saw Sami Zayn defending his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Ilja Dragunov.
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce presented Drew McIntyre, who entered the ring wearing a leather kilt. As soon as he reached the ring, a tremendous CM Punk chant erupted. The Scotsman informed the fans that he was prepared to handle business.
He then begs Pearce to make it official, but the manager wants McIntyre to apologize first. After a dispute, Seth Rollins stormed down to the ring and began brawling with the Scotsman. McIntyre had to withdraw past security as he stormed out.
Chad Gable opened the piece by stating that he was aware that Bo Dallas was portraying Uncle Howdy. He then requested Dallas to come out ahead of everyone and not make him wait. Dallas quickly rushed out without music, only to be caught off guard by Brutus and Julius Creed.
The lights went out during the onslaught, and when they came back on, Wyatt Sicks had ringed the ring. Dallas chuckled and stretched his arms as his brother once did.
