Ricochet’s WWE Contract is ending soon

Ricochet is one of the greatest highflyers in professional wrestling at present. He started his pro-wrestling career in 2003 and worked for many Independent circuits all across the world and made his way to WWE in 2018. He made a brief stint in NXT and made his main roster the following year, making a huge impact. He is a four-time champion in WWE and is one of the undeniable talents on the roster.

It was previously reported that his contract is expected to expire by this Summer. The sources reveal that he has shown intent to leave WWE after his contract expires. As the rumors regarding his contract are making a buzz, backstage reports reveal a shocking update on Ricochet’s status.

Ricochet’s Final WWE Appearance

Ricochet on this week’s Raw met Ilja Dragunov backstage thanking him for saving from Bron Breakker last week and guaranteed to have Dragunov’s back. He then saved Dragunov from the post-match assault by jumping from the barricade and sending Bron Breakker to retreat.

He then escorted Ilja Dragunov backstage, where he picked up a brawl with Bron Breakker, which resulted in Bron assaulting him in the parking lot, banging him over the bus and slamming him over the car to break his back and the car’s glass. He was carried out in an Ambulance for medical attention along with his fiancée Samantha Irvin. It is believed that it was his final appearance in WWE and the reports suggest the same.

PWInsider reported that this week’s Raw marks Ricochet’s final appearance of Ricochet in WWE, upon contract expiry. He is no longer scheduled for any further appearances in WWE programming unless he falls on the same line with the company.

PWInsider reported,

“Ricochet has not dates scheduled after tonight’s episode of Raw, and unless a complete 180 happens, it will be his last night with WWE.”

Last week on WWE Speed tapings, Ricochet lost his WWE Speed Championship to Andrade, which is yet to be aired. It was previously reported that he would be written out from television smoothly, but it seems like WWE has rushed his exit too soon and ended his ongoing storyline angle with Bron Breakker and Ilja Dragunov abruptly.
