Bron Breakker would look to recapture the gold at the earliest

Bron Breakker lost his Intercontinental title to Jey Uso in a hard-hitting contest on the 23rd September edition of Monday Night RAW. It was a welcome surprise for fans as title changes don’t usually happen on television in Triple H’s era.

Nevertheless, Breakker would be disappointed as he failed to keep his strap in what was only his second match as a champion. Here, we take a look at the Top Three Ways in which he can reclaim the Intercontinental title.

3. Breakker immediately wins back the belt in his rematch

It seems highly unlikely that WWE would take the title away from Uso this early when he’s just won his first-ever singles title with the company.

But it wouldn’t be such a distant possibility as the Anoa’i family member is much bigger than a mid-card player. It just seems like a matter of time before Uso competes for Gunther’s World Heavyweight championship.

Sure, he could do so with the IC title, but the Stamford-based promotion would just want to focus on the top prize. In such a scenario, it makes total sense that Breakker wins back the prestigious title in his first rematch.

2. Wyatt Sicks target Jey Uso, allowing Breakker to win back the IC title

This could be a long shot, but as the adage goes, ‘Anything can happen in the WWE.’ Recently, it has become a trend for arena fans to light up the flashes of their phones whenever Jey Uso enters the arena.

As is common knowledge, this sort of reception was reserved for the late great Bray Wyatt. The wrestling juggernaut could run an angle wherein the Sicks finally decide to punish the eight-time WWE tag team champion for no fault of his own.

If the sadistic ensemble does decide to interfere in Uso’s business, it could be a perfect opportunity for Breakker to capitalize and reclaim the IC title.

1. The New Bloodline costs Jey Uso the IC title, and Breakker is there to pounce upon at the right moment

Jey Uso has been spared the wrath of the New Bloodline as they are wreaking havoc on SmackDown! But, as the Survivor Series WarGames PLE draws closer, an attack by the Solo Sikoa-led faction on their ex-member seems imminent.

They’d love nothing more than to cost Uso the IC title. Moreover, it’ll give the 39-year-old a purpose to go after his menacing cousins and be embroiled in the Bloodline Civil War. Breakker would pray that any such interferences happen during his match with Uso, and he’ll definitely be ready to pounce upon such a golden opportunity.

Bron Breakker has all the tools to become a future main eventer in WWE. But as he is in the nascent stage of his main roster career, it doesn’t harm to have gold around his waist. The company might have pulled the plug abruptly on his first IC title reign, but it wouldn’t be a massive surprise if he succeeds in winning it back soon.
