The OG Bloodline suffered defeat against the new Bloodline at the Saudi PLE
The Original Bloodline’s loss against the Solo Sikoa-led version at the Crown Jewel PLE has sent shockwaves across the wrestling world, particularly because the win was clean as a whistle.
Undoubtedly, the OG trio needs to come up with a new strategy to counter the new blood. Here, we take a look at the top five ways the OG Bloodline can overcome Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline after WWE Crown Jewel 2024.
5. They can become a cohesive unit
The biggest reason behind the OG Bloodline losing out to the Solo Sikoa-led version at the Crown Jewel PLE was the lack of cohesiveness amongst the three brothers.
The trio might have reunited for the sake of it but they did not seem to trust each other completely, leaving the door ajar for Sikoa and his henchmen to have a field day in Saudi.
If the Usos and Roman Reigns need to have any chance of toppling the notorious faction, they need to be on the same page. If they do manage that, there might be a chance for them.
4. Roman Reigns needs to assert back his dominance
The most shocking moment that took place in the Bloodline Civil War at the Crown Jewel PLE was when Sikoa pinned Reigns cleanly after hitting multiple Samoan Spikes. The Original Tribal Chief getting pinned in a WWE ring has been a thing of rarity in the past few years.
Hence, it was a monumental surprise to see Reigns succumb so easily. This makes total sense storyline-wise, as the Head of The Table trying to mount a comeback after hitting rock bottom makes for intriguing TV.
It’s obvious that Reigns holds the key for the original Bloodline to bounce back after getting humiliated. If he does get his mean streak back, Sikoa and his lackeys will surely run for cover.
3. Paul Heyman returns to help The Bloodline put away their differences
The lack of a manager is apparent after the original Bloodline re-united. It’s no coincidence that the three have displayed such a lack of chemistry in the absence of the Wise Man.
That’s right, WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman might be the missing link in making this reunion a success. Given that the former ECW supremo has spent quite a bit of time on the sidelines, he is due a comeback to the forefront.
If Heyman does return to the fold, he could use his managerial prowess to help the band of brothers form a united front against a common threat.
2. The original bloodline acquires the services of Zilla Fatu
Recently the speculations have been rife on social media regarding Zilla Fatu joining WWE. It could mean that the son of the late great Umaga joins the new version of the Bloodline, or what if he goes on and does the unthinkable, join the Reigns-led original iteration instead?
It would not only be a success because of the major shock factor but also act as a game changer for the older lot, who could do with newer blood amongst their mix. However, it has to be said that the chances of Fatu joining the younger version of the familial faction look more likely.
1. Sami Zayn joins their side
Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso might not need to look any further than the Honorary Uce, Sami Zayn, who could be a trump card for the group. Granted, his addition to the Bloodline Civil War has made things more complex than before, but Zayn is the closest the brothers can find to a family.
Plus, the former Intercontinental champion is a resilient fighter; Reigns and company could use some of that fierceness. Hence, the Canadian could be the one who shifts the weight of balance in favor of the original ensemble.
The reunion of the original version of The Bloodline has felt incomplete until now; they badly need a spark to rejuvenate this team-up. Either of the ways mentioned on the list could work wonders for them.
