Brock Lesnar has been absent from WWE since SummerSlam 2023
‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar has been away from the squared ring since SummerSlam 2023. Lesnar was scheduled to make his return at the 2024 Royal Rumble PLE as a participant in the men’s Royal Rumble match.
However, he was removed from the event due to the lawsuit filed by a former WWE employee Janel Grant. Lesnar was replaced by Bron Breakker in the 2024 Royal Rumble and was subsequently removed from WWE’s creative plans for WrestleMania XL.
The Stamford-based promotion distanced itself from the star following his involvement in the Vince McMahon case. All references to him were removed from their programming, and it appears unlikely that he will return until his name is cleared in the lawsuit.
With fans waiting for his return any mention of the Beast Incarnate generates a lot of hype among WWE fans, while Lesnar has been spotted very few times, a recent spotting has sparked speculations.
Ringside News has reported that Brock Lesnar was spotted at a steakhouse in Austin, Texas earlier this week. When their correspondent asked about a potential WWE return, the former WWE Champion gave a brief response, saying, “We’ll see.”
This cryptic comment has once again sparked fans’ interest in Brock Lesnar’s return, especially considering how stacked the current roster is with superstars. His addition would open the door to multiple intriguing storylines, heightening the excitement and anticipation for his potential comeback.
Lesnar‘s last appearance was at the SummerSlam 2023 PLE where he battled Rhodes in a singles match. Despite losing the match, Lesnar went off script and shook hands with Rhodes and raised his arm signifying his victory and showing respect.
