The Beast Incarnate made his return during Night 2 of SummerSlam 2025!
‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar made his earth-shattering return during the final moments of Night 2 of SummerSlam 2025. Lesnar was absent from WWE programming since his loss to Cody Rhodes at the 2023 edition of SummerSlam.
Lesnar returned after the main event, where Cody Rhodes defeated John Cena to regain the Undisputed WWE title in a street fight. Cody and Cena embraced after the hard-fought match, and the crowd erupted in thanking Cena.
After Cody left, Cena acknowledged the crowd, and just then, Brock Lesnar’s music hit and the Beast Incarnate made his earth-shattering return to everyone’s surprise. The Beast Incarnate stepped into the ring, and John Cena tried to attack but failed as Lesnar laid out Cena with a vicious F5, similar to the way he did at SummerSlam 2021.
However, the Beast has been absent from WWE programming ever since. Meanwhile, Cena is now set to take on Logan Paul in a singles match at the upcoming Clash in Paris 2025. The upcoming Clash in Paris 2025 is set for Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, France.

Brock Lesnar might appear after Clash in Paris 2025

Despite many fans hoping to see Lesnar make an appearance on last week’s SummerSlam fallout show of SmackDown, Brock Lesnar was absent from the programming. With the announcement of Cena vs Paul for the upcoming PLE, it seems unlikely that Brock is going to show up before the PLE.
Lesnar will likely make another appearance after Cena’s match at Clash in Paris or after the PLE and kick off the feud, which would most likely culminate at the Crown Jewel PLE. The Clash in Paris against Logan Paul points to the fact that WWE is intentionally delaying the feud for the aforementioned PLE.
Lesnar can also make an appearance on the subsequent weeks of SmackDown, leading up to the Clash in Paris show and start feuding with Cena. Whatever Brock Lesnar decides to do, fans are in for a treat as the two veterans clash for what could be the last time.
Brock Lesnar vs John Cena is reportedly planned for September
According to Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer, the WWE PLE, which is reportedly set to go head-to-head with AEW All Out in September, will be headlined by the clash between Cena and Lesnar.
“The main event for this show is Brock Lesnar and John Cena, So it’s, it’s a big one.”
Post Wrestling‘s John Pollock and Brandon Thurston, citing multiple sources familiar with WWE’s event schedule, have reported that an unannounced Premium Live Event from WWE is set for Saturday, September 20, in Indianapolis, Indiana. The PLE’s date clashes with AEW’s All Out pay-per-view at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
Meltzer added that this booking is the reason Lesnar won’t be competing at the Clash in Paris PLE later this August.
“Which is why Brock’s not in Paris, is because of this, They wanted him for this show, not for the Paris show, and that’s where Logan Paul got the gig.”
When will Brock Lesnar make his next WWE appearance?
As of now, there is no confirmed date for Brock Lesnar’s next WWE appearance following his return during SummerSlam 2025.
Is John Cena set to face Brock Lesnar at Clash in Paris 2025?
No, John Cena is set to face Logan Paul in a singles match at Clash in Paris 2025. However, according to WON’s Dave Meltzer, the WWE PLE, which is reportedly set to go head-to-head with AEW All Out in September, will be headlined by the clash between Cena and Lesnar.
