Finn Balor appeared with a black mask at WWE Bad Blood 2024!
Finn Balor and Damian Priest have a long history as rivals and as teammates in the past. The rivals turned friends and became enemies again. The battle between the former tag team champions has been the biggest rivalry of the company at present, after the betrayal of Balor at SummerSlam.
At Bad Blood 2024, Balor faced Priest in a singles match for the first time, after Balor betrayed Priest and was kicked out of the Judgment Day faction at SummerSlam. They had a tough match, where the momentum swung both sides. While Priest was trying to finish things off, the dirty distraction game from Judgment Day played out, but that didn’t stop Priest from securing a win against Balor.
Although Balor delivered a great match, the mask which Balor wore during his entrance attracted the eyes of fans. Although this is not the first time that Balor has come out with the mask in the ring, this became a talking point among the WWE Universe. At this stage, Balor has officially shared the details behind his Bad Blood mask.
Finn Balor’s mask at Bad Blood
Finn Balor on X/Twitter posted a picture of him with the mask, which he wore for WWE Bad Blood 2024. Balor explained the details behind the mask. The mask features two tears and a line in the middle. Balor explained what’s the reason behind the details, saying that the two tears represent the tears for Damian and a tear for Rhea Ripley and the middle line represents the line they crossed. Finn Balor wrote, “A Tear for Damian. A Tear for Rhea. And the line they both crossed”.
It seems like Balor is using his attire to represent the rivalry and the storyline angles.
Finn Balor is not done with Damian Priest
Balor after his match against Damian Priest at Bad Blood revealed that he is not finished with Damian and will be coming for him when Priest least expects him. Balor said, “This ain’t over, Damian. This ain’t over because right when you least expect it, I’ll be waiting.”
