Bash in Berlin PLE could be the final time we see Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill team up together
The tag team of Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill have been the talk of the town ever since the dynamic duo decided to pair up. Both powerhouses went on to capture the women’s tag team championship at the Backlash PLE earlier this year. However, in a shocking turn of events, the team lost their straps to the sinister Unholy Union duo of Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn in a fatal four-way match at Clash At The Castle.
Belair and Cargill would again have a wonderful chance to win back their belts at the upcoming Bash in Berlin PLE as they challenge the champions. Join us now as we look at the top three possibilities for their mouth-watering clash.
3. The dynamic duo wins the tag team gold again
The unexpected title win by The Unholy Union could have been an act of fan service on the part of WWE as the Clash at the Castle PLE took place in the team’s home country of Scotland. Now that the company has given the new team on the main roster a taste of the success, it might be time for Belair and Cargill to return to the top of the women’s tag team division. Unless the Stamford-based promotion plans on splitting up the impactful team, it makes complete sense for them to win the women’s tag titles a second time.
2. WWE finally pulls the plug on the team after a loss
In what seems a question of when rather than if, many feel that the endgame for WWE is to split up the duo and embark on a singles feud. This would most likely involve a heel turn, either by Belair or Cargill, after losing their title opportunity. As the former is much more experienced in her wrestling career, it’ll most likely be her who turns on her partner.
Pairing Cargill with The EST of WWE was a shrewd move on the part of the wrestling juggernaut, and embroiling the duo in a well-crafted feud would be the next logical step. However, WWE would look to reserve this blockbuster rivalry for one of its ‘Big-Four’ PLE and the closest one is Survivor Series WarGames in November. Unless either of Cargill and Belair ends up injuring the other one for a considerable amount of time, this outcome looks unlikely.
1. The dominant team loses the title but continues to team up
If WWE plans on letting Belair and Cargill somehow fail in their challenge for the title, the company could still pair them up for the foreseeable future. The two are the biggest babyface acts in the women’s division, and keeping them together, at least for now, can lead to some exciting tag team battles in the upcoming PLEs.
Moreover, the WWE universe seems to absolutely adore the team, and continuing with the pair could help in keeping up the impressive viewership numbers. Lastly, a supposed split-up would appear to be much more heart-shattering if it comes at the most unexpected moment, rather than the fans being able to guess the team’s disbanding.
It’ll be fascinating to see which route Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill’s tag team journey takes at the upcoming Bash in Berlin. Irrespective of the outcome, the dominant duo has been a revelation in the women’s tag team division and has been a force to reckon with on the main roster.
