Kevin Owens lost his chance to become the Undisputed WWE Champion at WWE Bash in Berlin
Kevin Owens has become a top fixture for WWE television programming for the WWE in the last decade. From being the ruthless Prizefighter to ascending as a two-time back-to-back WrestleMania main eventer, Kevin Owens has built an impressive resume in the global juggernaut that also includes multiple championships and accolades.
However, Owens has been suffering a string of losses ever since the dawn of the year 2024 despite getting top opportunities.
Most recently, Kevin Owens was slated to battle Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at their newest International Premium Live Event, WWE Bash, in Berlin. The match came about after Owens was handpicked by Rhodes himself, despite believing that he did not deserve the opportunity.
Despite his valiant effort and multiple chances to evoke his aggressive side, Kevin Owens resisted and failed to dethrone Cody Rhodes in the capital city of Germany. With Owens etching one more major loss at a huge WWE stage, this has left fans wondering what is next for KO.
What is next for Kevin Owens after failing to win the championship at the WWE Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event?
Many fans were expecting that Kevin Owens would embrace his darker side en route to his match against Cody Rhodes at the WWE Bash in Berlin.
He even teased turning heel, and others thought he would pull the trigger on his friendship with Cody after their match. However, it was met with disappointment as the two walked away with their companionship still intact.
However, Owens would finally show his true colors by launching a brutal assault on Cody Rhodes on the fall-out edition of SmackDown, hinting that his quest for the title is not over.
Moreover, as Solo Sikoa has also declared his intentions to capture the title, WWE could head in the direction of having Cody Rhodes hunted by not one but two ruthless competitors.
This could set the tone for a fresh main event match for WWE’s upcoming Premium Live Event, Bad Blood, with Cody Rhodes defending his Undisputed WWE title against Kevin Owens and Solo Sikoa in a triple threat match.
