WWE RAW viewership hits four-week low
Since the Wyatt Sicks appeared on “Raw” following Clash at the Castle, the red brand has been able to escape some of its post-WrestleMania doldrums, drawing some solid numbers.
Things were challenging last week, however, when “Raw” drew lower-than-expected ratings for their post-Money in the Bank program, and things appeared to be tougher this week as well, with the show competing against the Home Run Derby.
What numbers did WWE RAW draw this week?
Wrestlenomics and PWTorch estimate that “Raw” got 1.669 million viewers, with 0.55 in 18-49. Both figures were down from the previous week, with overall viewership down 5% from 1.750 million and 18-49 dropping 5% from 0.59. “Raw” was also down compared to the four-week average, with total viewers falling 7% from 1.797 million and 18-49 down 5% from 0.59, mirroring the overall decline.
Because of the great statistics “Raw” had been bringing in over the past month, the program stayed up 5% and 16% compared to Q3 2023, while 18-49 remained up 9% compared to July 2023. One noticeable reduction was in overall viewership compared to July 2023, which fell by 3%. There were no stats released for the Home Run Derby, which competed with “Raw,” so it’s unclear how much it harmed “Raw’s” viewership.
“Raw” featured a lot of Rhea Ripley, although in a nonphysical capacity, following her comeback to the show a week ago. The former Women’s World Champion questioned Judgment Day member Dominik Mysterio about his dealings with Liv Morgan, then challenged Morgan for the Women’s World Championship at SummerSlam. In between his encounters with Ripley, Mysterio wrestled a match against Jey Uso, losing.
What happened on WWE RAW this week?
WWE brought the heat to Raw on Monday night, with a show jam-packed with memorable moments and plot beats. Much of the episode focused on the ongoing tension between Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio, and Liv Morgan.
However, Raw included much more than just relationship conflict. The Wyatt Sick6 tale took a significant step forward when Chad Gable enlisted the Creed Brothers to fight with him. Drew McIntyre also squandered a chance to face CM Punk by refusing to just apologize, while Damian Priest’s world heavyweight championship defense against Gunther at SummerSlam gained traction.
