“The Grandest Stage of Them All” once again lived up to the hype!
‘The 17-time WWE World Champion’ John Cena returned for the first time since his retirement match at Saturday Night’s Main Event in December 2025. Cena returned to host the ‘Grandest Stage’ in Las Vegas, which is emanating from the Allegiant Stadium.
Cena kicked off the show as fans welcomed the G.O.A.T. with loud chants. The 17-time Champion thanked the crowd before recapping how chaotic, unpredictable, and polarizing the Road to WrestleMania 42 has been. He then hyped up the crowd for what’s in store as pyros went off near the entrance.
Cena once again made an appearance after the co-main event that saw Liv Morgan defeat Stephanie Vaquer to capture the Women’s World title.
Night 1’s total attendance is 50,816.

Cena acknowledged the chatters before WrestleMania regarding the poor ticket sales, before announcing that the total attendance for Night 1 (Saturday) is 50,816.
The number reflects WWE successfully expanding the initial setup of around 45,000 and moving additional tickets, not only selling out the show but also pushing attendance beyond the originally expected capacity.
However, an unexpected guest arrived after the announcement. Bianca Belair, who has been absent from WWE programming since last year, made her return after the announcement and stepped into the ring.
Belair greeted fans before announcing her pregnancy as fans showered her with love, and Cena welcomed the youngest WWE superstar, correcting the total attendance to 50, 817.
Khel Now congratulates Bianca Belair and Montez Ford on the pregnancy announcement.
