Finn Balor suffered a loss against Damian Priest at WWE Bad Blood 2024!
The rivalry between Finn Balor & Damian Priest is a long story, from being rivals to stablemates to tag team champions to brothers and now the biggest rivals. At Bad Blood 2024, Balor faced Priest in a singles match for the first time, after Balor betrayed Priest and kicked-out of the Judgment Day faction at SummerSlam.
They had a tough match, where the momentum swung both the sides. While Priest was trying to finish things off, the dirty distraction game from Judgment Day played out, but that didn’t stop Priest from securing a win against Balor. As Finn Balor failed to defeat Priest, what’s next for him in WWE.
3. Strengthen The Judgment Day
Despite having the outside interference in favor of Balor, the Prince lost the match against Damian Priest. At this stage, Balor could think of strengthening the Judgment Day faction, as the number games didn’t help him. Balor could approach Raquel Rodriguez to join the faction, who helped Liv retain the title. He could also approach other potential stars in the company to join them, or will try to unleash the inner demons within them.
2. Forced to defend the tag titles against Damian & JD McDonagh
Since both Damian Priest and Jey Uso pinned Finn Balor and JD McDonagh in the past, this could put pressure on Judgment Day. Priest and Uso could claim their win as an advantage and could claim a tag team title match. Balor and JD could be forced to defend the titles against Priest and Jey, which could put him in a pressurized situation.
1. Rematch with Damian Priest
Finn Balor’s rivalry with Damian Priest is expected to be having a sequel and cannot be ended in a single match. At this stage, Balor could be challenging Damian Priest for a rematch at WWE Crown Jewel. Balor could add stipulations for the second match, which could go brutal, as the rivalry is not about defeating others, but to punish each other for what they did in the past. As this is being rumored, Balor could challenge for a Street Fight or No Disqualification match against Priest next.
