Solo Sikoa suffered defeat in the tribal combat match
On the historic debut episode of Monday Night RAW, Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns locked horns in a tribal combat match where the sacred Ula Fala was on the line. The debut show emanated from the Intuit Dome on January 06.
Legacy was on the line for the match as the two stars battled in the first match of the debut show. The winner will not only claim the title of “The Real Tribal Chief” but will also lay claim to the Ula Fala. Roman Reigns was able to restore order as he triumphed over Solo and reclaimed the Ula Fala.
Here we take a look at three ways Solo can move forward following the brutal loss and humiliation in the debut episode this week.
3. Rift within the new Bloodline
Following the loss, we might witness a rift in the new Bloodline which was led by Sikoa. The members of the Bloodline might turn to Sikoa questioning his leadership abilities and ruthlessness following the devastating loss.
Solo’s enforcer Jacob Fatu might repeat what Solo did last year and attempt a coup against his Tribal Chief. Although it seems like a far-fetched idea given Fatu’s loyalty and Solo’s dominant reign but the dynamic may have shifted after the debut episode.
2. Acknowledge Roman Reigns
Sikoa stated earlier in front of Paul Heyman during the first episode of Friday Night SmackDown in 2025 that he will acknowledge Roman Reigns if he loses in the tribal combat match.
Solo can keep his word and acknowledge ‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns in his next WWE appearance. He could also join the OG Bloodline and kick off his face turn, rejoining Reigns as his enforcer.
1. Start his singles run
One of the best paths Solo can take is to start his singles run after the loss at the debut episode. Sikoa can even use the transfer window and move to Monday Night RAW which will give him the opportunity to face new opponents and feature in new storylines.
Solo can bring back his person from his early WWE days in NXT where he was a confident, loudmouth who devastated his opponents. In NXT, Solo was allowed to cut promos better suited to his style which was very different from The Usos and Roman Reigns, which the fans loved.
Solo Sikoa was a dominant and ruthless tribal chief but despite beating up every dissenter which becomes boring after a while, he wasn’t successful when it comes to titles and accolades. He can now move on to starting his singles reign and either start his ascent towards a mid-card title or directly at the World title.
What do you think Solo Sikoa’s next step should be after the loss? Do you want him to start his singles reign or continue the Bloodline storyline? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments section.
