When is AJ Lee's next WWE appearance after her return on SmackDown?

Chicago witnessed another major return this past Friday!

After multiple teases, reports, and speculations, former Divas Champion AJ Lee made her WWE return after ten long years. Lee made her return during the September 5 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, which aired live from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois, USA. 

Lee returned during the ongoing feud between her husband, CM Punk and Seth Rollins, which was joined by Rollins’ wife and Women’s IC Champion Becky Lynch. The Women’s IC Champion continued berating Punk on SmackDown and again started slapping and shoving him around.

However, Punk followed on his promise from this Monday and reminded Becky that it’s Chicago, and he can call in a favor to help him deal with Becky.

Punk then said that he wouldn’t put his hands on a lady, but thankfully, he had someone who would. Lee then appeared amid massive pop from fans, taking down Lynch and delivering the slap to exact revenge on behalf of her husband.

Following SmackDown, many fans are speculating about Lee’s next WWE appearance and their next move against Rollins and Lynch.

AJ Lee is set to appear on this week’s WWE Raw

It has now been confirmed that AJ Lee will appear on this week’s Monday Night Raw.

One report adds that her appearance is expected to set the stage for a rumored mixed tag match featuring her and her husband, CM Punk, against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch at the upcoming Wrestlepalooza, which will take place on September 20 in Indianapolis..

The September 8 episode of Monday Night Raw is set to air live from the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

AJ Lee made her return to WWE after more than a decade away

Lee made her return last Friday after over a decade-long hiatus to join her husband in combating Lynch and Rollins. In her last WWE match, Lee teamed up with Naomi and Paige (Saraya) to battle a team of Natalya, The Bella Twins (Brie Bella & Nikki Bella).

The six-woman tag team match took place on the 30 March 2015 episode of Monday Night Raw, which emanated from the SAP Center in San Jose, California, USA. The team of Lee, Naomi, and Paige emerged victorious in the aforementioned clash.

After her return, AJ Lee even posed with the Women’s Intercontinental title. With reports suggesting she signed a multi-year contract, it seems the Wrestlepalooza match may not be the only one she has planned.
