The two veterans will collide tonight on WWE RAW!

‘The Second City Saint’ CM Punk and ‘The Phenomenal’ AJ Styles are set to collide on the June 02 episode of Monday Night Raw. The June 02 episode of the Red brand will serve as the go-home show for Money in the Bank 2025 and is set to air live from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA.

The promotion has announced two final qualifying matches, which will decide the final participant in the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

In the men’s Money in the Bank qualifying match tonight, CM Punk, AJ Styles, and El Grande Americano will lock horns to decide the final participant in the match. Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Penta, Seth Rollins, and Andrade have qualified for the match so far.

Punk and Styles sharing the ring together has created a lot of buzz among fans, with many excited for the two veterans to battle each other. Let us now take a look at the last time the two stars shared the ring and battled each other.

CM Punk and AJ Styles have not competed in singles action in WWE

The two veterans have been with the WWE for a long time, however, they have not competed once in a singles clash. The two stars recently shared the ring at the 2025 Royal Rumble, which emanated on 01 February from the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Apart from this, the two stars have not shared the ring in any capacity and have only battled each other in a singles match before their respective careers with the Stamford-based promotion.

Punk and Styles battled in a singles match almost 20 years ago in December 2004 at the International Wrestling Cartel (IWC) event. The two stars clashed at the IWC A Call To Arms 2 event on December 11, 2004, which emanated from the Wilmerding YMCA in Wilmerding, Pennsylvania, USA.

The Phenomenal One picked up the win in their last singles meeting. Apart from this, they have clashed nine times in independent promotions during the early 2000s; most of these meetings have been singles clashes with two of them being tag team matches, while one was a triple-threat clash.
