The G.O.A.T will compete for the last time in 2025
The 16-time WWE World Champion John Cena made his return on the historic debut episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix which was held at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood on January 6. During his return, Cena kicked off his farewell tour.
The G.O.A.T of pro wrestling will wrestle full-time this year and will retire from pro wrestling at the end of 2025. Cena also announced his entry into the 2025 Royal Rumble match during his appearance as he looks to break the tie with Ric Flair and become the 17-time WWE World Champion. The Cenation Leader also announced that he will enter the last Rumble of his WWE career.
The Cenation Leader has participated in a total of eight Rumble matches in his career with the Stamford-based promotion. In those eight appearances, he has accumulated a total of 2 hours 42 minutes 25 seconds.
Cena has one of the highest eliminations records in the Royal Rumble match as he has eliminated a total of 25 opponents and has an average of 3.125 in eight appearances.

John Cena’s last singles win came in 2018
The Cenation Leader has finished five times in the top four while he has been the runner-up in two instances. However, Cena’s best Rumble performance came in 2008 when he won the match after entering the match at the 30th spot.
Cena has won the Rumble match a total of two times with his second being in 2013 where he entered at the no. 19 spot. Coincidently this is also his last Rumble win as since then he has entered only once in 2018 where he was eliminated by Shinsuke Nakamura who went to win the match.
Furthermore, the GOAT of pro wrestling has been unable to win in singles competition since 2018. Cena’s last win in a singles competition came against Triple H at WWE‘s inaugural event in Saudi Arabia, the Greatest Royal Rumble event in 2018.
