John Cena’s last singles win in WWE came back in 2018.

John Cena will go down in history as one of the greatest WWE superstars of all time. The man who aspired to become a bodybuilder and found immense success in the world of sports and entertainment. Over the years, Cena has achieved multiple championships and accolades in WWE, including his 16 reigns as the World Champion.

The rise of John Cena saw him involved in some of the most memorable matches in the history of WWE. This includes matches across various generational talents, starting from battling stars in his young careers like Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar to high-profile opponents like Shawn Michaels, Triple H, CM Punk, The Rock, and Randy Orton, and finally, throwing hands against modern-era superstars like Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.

But in the last few years, while John Cena has been involved in some top-caliber matches in WWE, it has been a long time since the WWE Universe witnessed Cena end up in the winning column.

When did John Cena clinch his last singles win in WWE?

After his squash match defeat at the hands of The Undertaker at WrestleMania 34, John Cena was slated to battle The Game and current WWE Chief Content Officer, Triple H, at WWE‘s inaugural event in Saudi Arabia, the Greatest Royal Rumble event in 2018.

A highly enthralling and spectacular match went down between The Cenation Leader and The Cerebral Assassin, much to the delight of the Saudi audience, who were excited to see this legendary bout take place on their soil.

However, it has been six years since Cena’s last singles win. Although he has competed in some high profile singles matches against stars like Roman Reigns, Austin Theory and Solo Sikoa, John Cena did not end up winning the bout despite his valiant effort.

Can John Cena clinch a singles win now?

John Cena announced his Retirement tour during his recent surprise appearance at the WWE Money in the Bank PLE. Moreover, this would mean that he would wrestle for the eternity of 2025, making multiple appearances inside the ring, so there is still a chance for Cena to clinch a singles win next year.
