WWE Backlash will see two legends collide!
WWE Backlash 2025 is set for Saturday, May 10, live from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri, marking the 20th edition of the annual Premium Live Event. The action kicks off at 7 PM ET/4 PM PT, streaming exclusively on Peacock in the U.S. and Netflix internationally.
The card features a blockbuster Undisputed WWE Championship match between John Cena and hometown hero Randy Orton, made official after Orton issued the challenge on the April 25 episode of SmackDown. In women’s action, Becky Lynch will defend her Intercontinental Championship against Lyra Valkyria, following a heated confrontation and brawl on Raw.
The United States Championship will be on the line in a Fatal Four-Way, as Jacob Fatu defends against Drew McIntyre, LA Knight, and Damian Priest, after GM Nick Aldis revised the initial triple threat. Also announced, Dominik Mysterio will face Penta in an Intercontinental Title rematch. Penta earned momentum with a big win over JD McDonagh on May 5’s Raw, fending off interference from Finn Bálor, Carlito, and Chad Gable.
Finally, Pat McAfee will go one-on-one with Gunther, seeking payback after Gunther’s brutal attack on him and Michael Cole on Raw after WrestleMania.
