We might witness some celebrity appearances at WWE SummerSlam 2024

SummerSlam 2024 is just around the corner, and anticipation is reaching a fever pitch! The excitement for this premium live event has been so intense over the past few years that, starting in 2026, SummerSlam will expand into a two-night extravaganza similar to WrestleMania.

Until then, WWE will pack all the excitement and action into one night, and if history is any indication, we can expect a star-studded event. Over the past decade, numerous celebrities have graced SummerSlam with their presence, some even stepping into the ring to show off their skills. Let’s look at some celebrities who have made memorable appearances at SummerSlam over the years and speculate on who might show up this year.

Celebrities confirmed for WWE SummerSlam 2024

Jelly Roll

When Triple H announced the theme songs for SummerSlam 2024 on X, he teased a performance by Jelly Roll, who responded positively. WWE officially confirmed that we will see both an appearance and a performance by Jelly Roll at the event. He is set to perform the song ‘Liar’ at the PLE.

Previous celebrity appearances

Stephen Amell – 2015

Stephen Amell, star of “The Arrow,” made his in-ring debut at SummerSlam 2015. He teamed up with Neville to take on Stardust and King Barrett in a match that pleasantly surprised fans.

Unlike many celebrity matches where the stars mostly stay on the sidelines, Amell actively participated and showcased his athleticism, diving from the top rope to the outside of the ring. He fully committed to the storyline, appearing on weekly WWE episodes to build his feud with Stardust and alliance with Neville. Amell’s brief run in WWE earned him the respect of many fans.

Jon Stewart – 2015 & 2016

Jon Stewart, the former host of “The Daily Show,” made controversial appearances at SummerSlam in 2015 and 2016. Stewart hosted SummerSlam 2015 and had a feud with Seth Rollins leading up to the event. At SummerSlam, Stewart turned on John Cena, helping Rollins win the WWE United States Championship, a move that was not well-received by fans who were eager for a clean finish to the match.
