The 42nd edition of WrestleMania 42 concluded as a two-night event on April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The PLE featured some major returns, including Paige, Bron Breakker, and Bianca Belair. Belair made an appearance to announce her pregnancy.
On the other hand, the main event of Night 1 saw Cody Rhodes defeat Randy Orton to retain the Undisputed title, while Roman Reigns defeated CM Punk to capture the World Heavyweight title in the main event of Night 2 of the show.
On the other hand, Paige, who returned to replace Nikki Bella in the Fatal Four-way match for the Women’s Tag Team titles, ended up capturing the title alongside Brie Bella.
Apart from results, the event drew a total of 106,702 fans. Night 1 drew a total of 50,816, while 55,255 fans attended Night 2 of the PLE. After the PLE, a new report from Fightful Select has revealed the top three merchandise sellers during the PLE.

According to the report, CM Punk was the number one merchandise seller during WrestleMania at Allegiant Stadium. The report also noted that Punk has had incredible merchandise sales since his return during Survivor Series in 2023.
On the other hand, Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes ranked second on the list of top merchandise sellers, which continues to highlight his ability to move merch, as he continues to have high merch sales.
Ranking third was Danhausen, who has transformed into a megastar despite joining the company two months ago. Per WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, Fanatics was “blown away” by Danhausen’s merchandise sales, which required multiple restocks and ultimately led to him being invited to Fanatics Fest.
After the conclusion of WrestleMania 42, WWE is now gearing up for the 2026 edition of Backlash, which is set for May 9th at the Benchmark Arena in Tampa, Florida. WWE has not announced any matches for the show, but it is anticipated to announce them during the April 27 edition of Monday Night Raw.
