Chad Gable wants to face the best luchador Adam Pearce can find next week
The historic debut episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix concluded at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood on January 6. The show featured four iconic matches that delivered jaw-dropping action, multiple appearances, and returns were also featured on the show.
Roman Reigns re-established order as he pinned Solo Sikoa to reclaim the Ula Fala, Rhea Ripley defeated Liv Morgan to become the Women’s World Champion for the second time. Ripley celebrated her win afterward with The Undertaker.
Jey Uso was able to roll Drew McIntyre up for a pin as he broke McIntyre’s undefeated streak against him. In the main event of the episode, CM Punk defeated Seth Rollins in a vicious battle that tested both stars.
During the episode in a backstage segment, Cath Kelley was interviewing General Manager Adam Pearce who was talking to Bayley. Kelley asked Pearce what the fans could expect from the rest of the show and praised the event so far.
Penta El Zero Miedo might be Chad Gable’s opponent on 01/13 RAW
As Pearce was about to answer, Chad Gable along with the American Made faction interrupted him and lauded his own accomplishments, claiming that he single-handedly destroyed Otis and the Alpha Academy. Gable then stated that he wants to face the best Lucador Pearce could find next week as he wanted to shut down the rumors that suggests he has trouble fighting Lucadors.
General Manager Adam Pearce asked Gable if he was sure, and when Gable confirmed he was, Pearce replied that he has the perfect opponent in mind for him.
Gable’s opponent next week will most probably be Mexican wrestling sensation, Penta El Zero Miedo. Miedo has signed with the WWE following his AEW exit. The promotion has been airing his vignette in recent episodes of the Red brand. Penta’s distinctive branding made a prominent appearance on last week’s show confirming his signing with the promotion.

Miedo’s vignette appeared again during the broadcast of the RAW’s Netflix debut revealing his name and confirming that he will be making his return soon. With the segment between Pearce and Gable, Miedo will probably make his debut next week and all signs point to him facing Gable.
Miedo is a Mexican luchador enmascarado (masked professional wrestler). Penta started his pro wrestling career in 2004 and similar to many masked wrestlers in Mexico his real name is unknown.
