Who could Jey Uso face at WWE SummerSlam 2024?

Jey Uso is one of the most celebrated wrestlers among fans on the active WWE roster. Jey earned a major spotlight after joining The Bloodline in 2020. However, Jey Uso left the Bloodline last summer and started his singles wrestling career, which gained a huge amount of attention from the WWE Universe. Jey created his own identity and got the vibe of the fans.

Uso is now one of the biggest singles wrestlers in the active WWE roster and is in pursuit of winning his first singles championship.

Jey had some of the big matches and came so close to winning his first singles title on several occasions. As Jey is known for some of the big matches at the biggest shows, here we take a look at Jey Uso’s status for WWE SummerSlam 2024.

Jey Uso vs Dominik Mysterio

Jey Uso has been hinting of having interest in knowing whether ‘Rhea Ripley is single and ready to mingle’. Last week on Raw, Jey’s discussion with Damian Priest regarding Ripley made Dominik Mysterio angry and resulted in a match later the same night.

Dominik was more dominant than ever before during the match, but the interference of Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley, made Jey pick up the win. 

As Jey signaled Ripley to call him and then asked her for a date at Waffle House, became a huge talking point and Ripley has also posted a story on it.

Since Jey has been the new problem between Dom & Rhea, Dominik could challenge Jey for a singles match at SummerSlam 2024.

To miss WWE SummerSlam 2024

Despite the storyline angle with Dominik & Rhea, there is no other angle for Jey Uso for SummerSlam 2024. The backstage rumors suggest that Jey is most likely to miss this year’s SummerSlam PLE without a match.

Reunite with The real Bloodline & face The New Bloodline

On the other hand, some believe that Jey could join hands with Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, however there isn’t any storyline built for the original Bloodline reunion yet. If Jey reunites with Roman Reigns’s Bloodline, they could most probably go head to head against Solo Sikoa’s new Bloodline.

It is important to know that Jey Uso’s main event was last year’s SummerSlam facing Roman Reigns in a Tribal Combat Match for the Tribal Chief Status & the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, however, he got screwed by his older twin Jimmy Uso, which made Jey leave The Bloodline and move to Raw as a singles wrestler.

With just one week from Saturday, no matches for Jey Uso have been booked to date for SummerSlam 2024. We need to wait and watch so we could see if Mr. Yeet could be on the card for this year’s SummerSlam or not.
