The mystery that hovered over WWE for weeks finally has a name.
On the February 27, 2026 episode of the Blue Brand, the masked attacker who had repeatedly targeted members of The Vision was unmasked and revealed as Don Furio.
He is an independent wrestler with a notable connection to Seth Rollins. For many fans, the reveal raised as many questions as it answered.
Who is Don Furio, The Masked Man?
Don Furio, who brands himself on Instagram as “The Magnificent Don Furio” and “Italian Steel,” is not a main-roster regular.
According to his Facebook page, he trained at Seth Rollins’ Black and Brave Wrestling Academy. He also lists training at Cody Rhodes’ Nightmare Factory, adding another intriguing link to WWE’s upper echelon.
The masked attacker first surfaced at the 2026 Royal Rumble. During Bron Breakker’s entrance, the hooded figure ambushed him and delivered Rollins’ signature Curb Stomp. The chaos allowed Oba Femi to eliminate Breakker immediately.
In the weeks that followed, the attacks continued. Furio targeted Logan Paul, Austin Theory, and the recently injured Bronson Reed.
Earlier speculation had pointed to Grayson Waller as the likely culprit, especially after reports that he had been quietly pulled from WWE NXT commitments around the Rumble. That theory has now been firmly put to rest.
Interestingly, Austin Theory had originally donned the mask during Rollins’ tenure as leader of The Vision. After Rollins was expelled from the faction, however, a new masked assailant emerged, now confirmed to be Furio.
The Rollins connection and WrestleMania 42 implications
With Don Furio’s training background tied directly to Rollins, attention immediately shifts to the former Vision leader. The implication is clear: Rollins may have enlisted one of his own students to destabilize the group from the shadows while recovering from injury.
Whether WWE fully acknowledges that connection in storyline remains to be seen. Some fans suspect the reveal could be a misdirection, with further twists still ahead.
Seth Rollins himself recently addressed his injury status in an interview, stating, “I wish I had a solid answer for you, but I am going to have to plead the fifth. I don’t know. The end of the day is I want to be back for WrestleMania, but it’s not up to me. It’s up to the doctors, they gotta tell me if I’m gonna be good to go.”
With Rollins, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed all sidelined, The Vision is down to Logan Paul, Austin Theory and manager Paul Heyman. Brock Lesnar’s alignment remains unofficial at best. Don Furio may have been unmasked, but the larger conspiracy could still be unfolding.
