Joe Samuel Hendry, born on May 1, 1988, in Scotland, is an professional wrestler and musician known for his charisma, athletic prowess, and musical talents. He is Currently signed with Total Nonstop Action (TNA), Hendry has carved a unique niche in the wrestling world, becoming the longest-reigning TNA Digital Media Champion.
Joe Hendry’s journey in professional wrestling began at the Source Wrestling School, where he trained under Damian Mackle, Mikey Whiplash, Robbie Brookside, and Marty Jones. His early career saw brief appearances for WWE as a Rosebud and a Russian diplomat on Raw in 2014. His first Canadian tour was with SMASH Wrestling, and he also worked for Pro Wrestling Ulster.
Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW)
In 2013, Hendry began regularly appearing for Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW), where he joined James R. Kennedy’s stable, the Kennedy Administration. Hendry entered a notable rivalry with Big Damo and later feuded with fellow Kennedy Administration member Kenny Williams. On April 6, 2015, Hendry challenged Drew Galloway for the ICW World Heavyweight Championship but was unsuccessful. He later formed a successful tag team, “The Local Fire,” with Davey Boy, winning the ICW Tag Team Championships in 2016.
Ring of Honor (ROH) and World of Sport Wrestling (WOS)
In 2016, Hendry made appearances for Ring of Honor during their UK tour and returned in 2018 to challenge Silas Young for the ROH World Television Championship. He formed a tag team with Dalton Castle and participated in various matches before the COVID-19 pandemic halted operations. Between 2018 and 2019, Hendry was part of the rebooted World of Sport Wrestling, where he engaged in several high-profile feuds and title challenges.

Longest-Reigning Digital Media Champion
Hendry returned to Impact Wrestling in 2022 and quickly made an impact by winning the Impact Digital Media Championship on November 10. His reign saw successful defenses against notable opponents like Moose and Matt Cardona, making him the longest-reigning champion in the title’s history. Hendry’s title run was characterized by his entertaining feuds and innovative matches, solidifying his status as a top star in TNA.

In April 2024, Hendry’s theme tune, “I Believe In Joe Hendry,” went viral, peaking at number 4 on the UK Singles Downloads Chart and number 6 on the UK Singles Sales Charts. This musical success further showcased Hendry’s versatility and connection with fans.
