Mike D Vecchio recently vacated the wXw European title due to injury!
A rising talent from Belgium, Mike Derudder, known by his ring name Mike D Vecchio, is currently working as a freelancer and is signed to Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw). Vecchio is the former wXw European Champion; his title reign ended at 226 days as he vacated the title due to injury.
Vecchio began his pro wrestling journey in 2013 with the European Catch Tour Association (ECTA). Since his debut, he has had a total of 363 matches where he has registered wins in 192 matches (52.9%) and has suffered defeat in 162 matches (44.6%). Additionally, Vecchio has 9 numbers of draws as of now (2.5%).
Vecchio has performed in multiple promotions, including All Japan Pro Wrestling, Game Changer Wrestling (GCW), Progress Wrestling, German Wrestling Federation (GWF), and Revolution Pro Wrestling (Rev Pro), among others.
Vecchio made his Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw) debut in 2021 and, after capturing the European title from Aigle Blanc in October 2024, has defended it six times, until vacating it this week due to an injury. The 29-year-old talent is also a three-time Superstar Wrestling Champion and has held the TPW Proud title, the GWF World Champion, and the EWA Europameisterschaft Championship once.
The Belgian native was part of the earlier WWE tryouts, and as per reports from Cultaholic, has signed a deal with the WWE. The report also adds that Mike D Vecchio is expected to start with the company by September 2025.
