The Grandest Stage has featured some young talents alongside veterans.

The WrestleMania PLE has created countless historic moments, crowning new champions, settling long‑standing rivalries, and delivering unforgettable outcomes that has defined careers.

‘The Grandest Stage’ has showcased some of wrestling’s biggest names battling each other. Even veterans have returned for one last run, before bidding farewell to the ring. Similarly, the event has give multiple young talents the chance to showcase their skills in front of a massive audience.

Some of the youngest talents have left a lasting mark and proving age isn’t always a barrier to making an impact. However, there is always debate on who holds the record as the youngest star ever to compete at WrestleMania.

Nicholas Cone is the youngest star to compete at WrestleMania

In the lead-up to WrestleMania 34, Braun Strowman singlehandedly won a tag team battle royal to secure a shot at the then reigning Raw Tag Team Champions The Bar (Cesaro & Sheamus). However, then-Raw GM Kurt Angle said that Strowman will have to find a partner to face the Tag Champs at Mania.

At Mania, Strowman picked up a young kid named Nicolas from the crowd stands and then the two went on to capture the Tag Team titles. The moment quickly went viral with fans worldwide reacting to the wholesome clip.

Notably, Nicolas is John Cone’s son, who has been with WWE as a referee and also works in the corporate role of senior manager of talent relations for the company.

With his appearance and title win, Nicolas became the youngest person to compete at WrestleMania. Regarding his age, the commentary team during the match noted that Nicolas is 10 years old.

In an appearance Raw after Mania, Strowman also mentioned Nicolas being in the 4th grade, which also confirms his age as the average age for a 4th grader in 9-10 years.

However, during the same segment with GM Kurt Angle, Strowman and Nicolas also relinquished the title, due to scheduling conflict, mainly as Nicolas was still attending school.

Who is youngest person ever to compete at WrestleMania?

The youngest star to ever step into the ring at WrestleMania is Nicholas (son of WWE referee John Cone), who competed at just 10 years old, making history on WWE’s biggest stage.
