‘Big’ Bronson Reed was absent from WWE programming since his last appearance at the men’s WarGames clash at Survivor Series 2024 PLE, which was held on November 30 at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

Reed made his surprising return during the first match of the May 24 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event in Tampa, Florida, where CM Punk and Sami Zayn teamed up to battle Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker in a tag team match.

Reed appeared through the crowd and darted towards Punk, pummelling him through the barricade. This interference helped Breakker land a vicious spear on Zayn and seal the victory for his team.

After the match, Bronson stepped into the ring as he came face-to-face with Breakker. However, Rollins stepped forward and embraced Reed, signaling his alliance and addition to the newly formed faction. The three men, along with Paul Heyman, then celebrated the win in front of the crowd.

However, the attack led many fans to speculate why Reed attacked Punk out of the blue when he wasn’t even feuding with him before his injury, but it was Seth Rollins, himself, who was embroiled in a fierce feud with Reed.

Bronson Reed suffered an injury during the 2024 WarGames match

Bronson Reed teamed up with Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline (Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, & Tonga Loa) during the aforementioned WarGames match, which took place on the 2024 edition of Survivor Series WarGames, which was held on November 30, 2024, at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

They battled the OG Bloodline, which consisted of Roman Reigns, The Usos (Jey & Jimmy Uso), Sami Zayn, and CM Punk. The OG faction emerged victorious in the match despite the visible tensions between Reigns and Punk.

So is Bronson Reed attacking CM Punk for the win at WarGames? The short answer is No! During the match, there was a spot where Reed laid Roman on the table and went atop the steel cage for a frog splash. However, Punk saved Reigns just in time as Reed landed hard through the table.

Due to CM Punk‘s interference, Reigns narrowly avoided the impact, leaving Reed to take the full brunt of the crash with startling impact. The crash landing caused Reed to suffer a broken foot due to the impact and forced him out of action since November.
