Drew McIntyre made his return on this week’s episode of WWE Raw
‘The Scottish Psychopath’ Drew McIntyre made his surprising return on this week’s episode on Monday Night Raw. The 12/2 fallout episode from the final PLE of the Red brand aired live from the Angel of the Winds Arena, Everett, Washington, U.S.A.
McIntyre appeared after the main event of the Red brand and attacked Sami Zayn, Drew was wearing a hoodie as he took out Zayn with a vicious claymore. The Scottish Psychopath then removed the hoodie to reveal himself.
Zayn locked horns with Seth Rollins in the main event of the episode, this match was set after the two were involved in a war of words at the beginning of the episode.
‘Main Event’ Jey Uso was also attacked backstage just before the main event match between Zayn and Rollins. Zayn thought Rollins attacked him as he went into the match, but the claymore after the match hints at someone else.
Drew McIntyre’s last appearance was at Bad Blood 2024
McIntyre’s last WWE appearance came during the brutal Hell in a Cell match against ‘The Second City Saint’ CM Punk at Bad Blood 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Drew suffered defeat at the hands of Punk in his last match, the two were involved in a gruesome feud that has become one of the best feuds of the year in all of pro wrestling.
Following the shocking attack, McIntyre took to social media to address his fans, cautioning them to be wary of rumors and speculation circulating online. He advised them to rely solely on official sources, such as WWE or his own personal accounts, for accurate information.
“If you don’t hear it from me, live on WWE TV, or on my social channels, assume that every single thing you hear about Drew McIntyre is BS! Oh, and how soon, you all forget,” McIntyre said.
The former multi-time champion made it clear that he is back to remind everyone that he’s one of the most dominant forces in wrestling.
Although WWE didn’t reveal the identity of Jey Uso’s attacker, signs point to McIntyre being the culprit. However, other potential suspects can’t be ruled out, given the OG faction’s history of terrorizing opponents and their current feud with Solo Sikoa‘s rogue Bloodline.
Who do you think attacked Jey Uso, and what motivated them? Which opponent would you like to see the Scottish Psychopath face next? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments!
