The Scottish Psychopath has joined the Blue brand
Drew McIntyre has revealed why he switched brands and traveled to SmackDown from RAW after being extremely frustrated this week. The star has spoken about it.
Drew McIntyre discussed his decision to transfer from RAW to WWE SmackDown this week. He explained that he had been talking to himself about why he was so upset and frustrated before realizing it was because of WWE RAW.
The Scottish Psychopath described RAW as a hostile work environment. He stated he was thinking about what he would do if he received a call from Nick Aldis.
Aldis told him that there would be no more interference and that he would be at ease to be himself, which prompted him to switch brands from Raw to SmackDown.
âWhy are you so angry all the time? And I realized I am a product of my environment; RAW is a toxic workplace. Everybody tries to stab you in the back, a bunch of egos. If youâre a good person trying to do the right thing and telling the truth, youâre apparently the bad guy.
And that bald idiot Adam Pearce has no idea what heâs doing. So now I can see clearly that I needed a solution. Thatâs when my phone rang â Nick Aldis. Iâve known Nick since we were teenagers. He told me, âDrew, I want you on SmackDown. And I promise, no more bs. You can finally be unleashed. Drew will be allowed to be Drew 100%,'â he said.

Drew McIntyre has qualified for the Menâs Elimination Chamber match
On the February 7 episode of WWE SmackDown, we saw Drew McIntyre getting interrupted by LA Knight & Jimmy Uso. All three men were scheduled to square off in a triple-threat qualifying match for the menâs Elimination Chamber.
LA Knight was about to win the contest when he grabbed Big Jim for a BFT. However, Drew McIntyre attacked from behind with a Claymore to the back of LAâs head, pinning the megastar and earning his spot in the Elimination Chamber.
McIntyre will now face his opponents CM Punk and John Cena in the menâs chamber on March 1 in Toronto, Ontario. The final three slots will be given to the victors of Rey Mysterio vs Logan Paul, Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor and Damian Priest vs Braun Strowman vs Jacob Fatu.
